I am receiving a lot of emails regarding my application at Global Summit Consultancy located in Makati. This is in response to my post at eFilipinos Forum. To tell you honestly, i am very apprehensive about the program that’s why i didn’t pursue my application. Too bad, people are now complaining especially those who gave their initial payment in the consultancy. Some applications are pending and needed some actions. I am not saying that Global Summit Consultancy is an illegal entity. We all have the right to question whether it’s legal or not. Consulting POEA in this matter is the proper way to check it.
If you are hesitant whether to continue or not, you can directly consult the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) located in Ortigas.
If you are in doubt of any agency you’re applying, always call POEA for proper actions. Below are guides and links for your reference :

At this point in time I believe that this is not the best time to go to UK.
First and foremost, most of my friends who are already there really on the verge of almost giving up due to problems not getting a job easily. Most of the students are having a hard time getting a job. And the truth about the schools they aren’t really teaching you anything at all. Whenever you applied for a job most of the employer would ask you for a referral and if you don’t have it then you will never even have get a chance of even going to the first base.
UK Embassy is getting stricter and the Visa Fee will go from £145 to £199 + £20 per person for the migration impacts fund effective 6 April 2010. IELTS is required and students are only allowed to work for only 10 hours/WEEK.
Think. Think. Think hard talaga guys. If this is even worth a move.
i dis agree….okay naman yung global, lahat ng cousin kong andon are now successful…
andon yung mga cousin ko s london, with the help of london.
it is true that Impact International College in UK is no longer accepting applicants for the mean time kasi madami sila pending applicants and I am one of them.. I applied for my student visa last year unfortunately I got refuse i’ll apply again this feb and hopefully i’ll get thru. Just a piece of advice kapag po in doubt huwag maglabas ng big amount trust ur instincts.. Good luck to all of us! Madami po manloloko huwag na lng tayo paloko and huag po magmadali mkaalis if its Gods will it will come….
i know someone whose used to be asking for assistance with global summit consultancy – cebu branch and then after several months the school that this person enrolled to (impact college) is full all of a sudden. my friend already paid the full consultancy fee which is 75k. because of such delay and also negative rumors heard from other people who also applied for student visa, they then decided to try with enhance visa services. they enrolled with st. Patrick’s college (a very expensive school) and received visa letter in just least than 2 weeks and visa was granted in least than 2 weeks. so happy for them..but its too sad for me cause i am still with global..no choice. i don’t have enough money to try with another consultancy. huhuhu…
maybe this site will help

@ pinkpanther:
and what did your friend tell u?
i’m also planning to place my application to global summit as a student in UK…i attended the seminar in makati and they explained everything well..though the money required is quite big i’m still ready to gamble..because i have a friend and schoolmate who is already there in UK through global summit..yet i’m still in doubt and but there is no other way to get to UK so i might as well grab this oppurtunity and have my papers processed..
hi! i am one of the 2008 applicants of Global Summit Consultancy – Davao and like PHOTOFIX, my application took almost a year before it was successful.. It was not the fault of the agency, it was with their partner school here in UK. The agency could update with the school every minute if they want but it’s not that easy because the partner schools here in UK are also very busy receiving foreign students and assisting them every day. All im saying is that if you already paid the consultancy fee, then why not just continue waiting for any results. Anyway, your payment won’t expire. That’s what i did, i always went and talked to the manager and asked for any advices regarding my application. Don’t hesitate to ask them any questions and doubts you have in your mind because that’s what u paid for–consultation. And always pray because if its meant for you, no matter how long u waited, faith will give it to you.
@ kim, so are u saying that global summit agency is trustworthy? are u under the student visa there in UK? are u a nurse? how does it go there? are the rumors true about the nurse under the student visa in UK?
please tell the truth because it would be a great help to the rest of the nurses aspiring to such visa.
I truly regret the fact that I ask the assistance of Global Summit – Cebu Branch. My application is still pending and its almost a year now. I should have known better. Since its here..then its up to God Almighty. I hope they have the conscience..since its a big gamble for those aspiring to go to the UK. Paying 53K up to 75K for the consultancy fee alone. I did provide all the necessary requirements for the Lodging of Visa but then they found that they have a fault at their part for not updating with the school. I have a lot of complaints with the services they are providing and it really isn’t satisfying. They should treat their clients well for their firm to last. They should not only focus on how to get a lot of money to clients but rather set a goal in order to help people.
I guess that is true..Global Summit in Makati is very good in telling lies.Especially their marketing consultants.I hope that applicants should really think thrice if they are planning to apply for student visa particularly to UK simply because in reality its a big gamble and investment.Better try kirsten or any consultancy who is offering a JOB PLACEMENT!!!and a written JOB OFFER. Do not be fooled..
Global Summit claims that they are not a recruitment agency rather they are a consultancy. So, is there a way that we can check if they are legal?
I tried to look their corporation name as well at Securities & Exchange Commissions office and of course, the site is not available.
Applicants should be very cautious in dealing with agencies that demands payment before their applications are processed. most are illegal recruiters because that is not the usual way to be employed overseas.
