Personally, i think that the most economical printer available today is the HP900. The print quality is very good and yet it doesn’t use that much ink. I get around 500 pages of plain text on an original HP900 black cartridge, which costs only around P300.

I’m not a fan of refilling nor of compatible cartridges because it does damage the printer sometimes, but the most significant difference for me, specifically on HP printers is that, the print quality is not that good. I do a lot of desktop publishing and the colors are crisp and exact whenever i use originals.

I guess it all depends on your printing requirements but for me, i still recommend using original cartridges and just practice efficient habits when using your printer.

Thanks Ambo for this informative post.

I personlay like the lexmark all in one printer. the ink cartridges are small and run out to fast for me. One thing i know is they work fine with inkjet refills or remanufactured cartridges. I have no problem with them or quality and it save me alot of money on printer ink.
