This afternoon i was talking to my friend Sweden who’s living in Australia and at the height of our conversation she mentioned about this Malu Fernandez who’s been the most hated person in the blogosphere for days now. She mentioned that she can’t remember what’s the issue all about. Then i became curious who is this Malu Fernandez. So i searched google and found out that i was really left behind about the issue. Huh! For God sake, it happened when my laptap broke and needed a repair at the HP service center in Makati.

Praise to the Makati Police and Chief Gilbert Cruz for uploading their one of a kind video campaign. Using the power of internet, these videos were uploaded at Youtube. Various Modus Operandis circulating in Metro Manila and nearby provinces were re-enacted by the Makati police themselves.
An example of their video, “Criminal Modus Operandi - ATM Scam”.

Christine Gambito, a Filipino immigrant in Virginia is behind the Happy Slip Productions which turned out a big hit at youtube.com. The one woman show on video is really amusing that’s why she was named as 2nd Best Comedy at the 2006 Youtube Video Awards.
Christine quoted,
While growing up, my mom was always quick to remind me to wear a half slip with my skirts. She would say “Your hap eslip!! Be sure to wear your hap eslip!!”. So I grew up thinking - the term was always “happy slip”, until I was corrected by classmates who asked me if I had a sad slip as well.
Visit and watch Happy Slip . Great and hilarious blog. I really love it!
Christine, Proud Pinoy!
