Who says that only women can use this shampoo, to make hair as soft as this guy? Funny, but this TV ad had a great impact to all the viewers and shampoo users as well. This is not the first time for a guy endorsing a shampoo product, but now with a twist, long hair, just like women. For readers abroad, this is one of the popular TV commercials in the Philippines now. The background says, “No camera tricks were used in this commercial,” ohh. i believe so.

Makulay ang Buhay was totally a big hit for kids! Funny, as of this writing, it’s the commercial on tv. I know many of our Kababayans (overseas) don’t know what i am talking to. I am sharing this video, one on Philippine tv commercials, created by Knorr.
The marketing strategy of this company “wowed” the audience. This campaign inspired the kids (adults too) not only to the dance steps and the beat of the song, but the idea would encourage kids to eat vegetables as a daily part Continue reading ‘Makulay Ang Buhay the Veggy Commercial’

This afternoon, Willie Revillame came out in the middle of the show explaining the real mechanics of the game called “Wilyonaryo”. He admitted that there are really two numbers contained inside the controversial wheel and further claimed that’s for their protection. The contestant then may choose winame or wilyonaryo, if the contestant opt to choose winame, then he will go home with the amount offered by the show, but if he chooses wilyonaryo, the wheel now be opened to reveal the prize. When the game ends, this time, Willie may choose to reveal the 2 million prize or nothing.
Seems confusing? People now may not agree with the game’s mechanics. That the wheel should contain only one number instead of two to avoid manipulation. If this is the rule of the game, does it mean that the show can manipulate whether the constestant will win or lose? nothing or 2 million?
This controversy has gone a long way and affected so much the public especially the viewers. The issue here isn’t the war between the two networks nor the feud between Joey and Willie. It’s all about how the game really works in a manner that people wouldn’t think it’s not manipulated by the people behind the game.
Now we are told about the mechanics of the game, do you think it’s really an honest mistake? or simply a scam?
August 29, 2007, This afternoon Willie Revillame had spoken and opened up regarding this controversy and it turned out so emotional during the opening of his show ‘Wowowee’. He felt sorry and made a public apology already. This may seem acceptable on part of other people who are in the audience and those watching at home. Willie was totally irked and cannot avoid himself to talk about Joey De Leon’s - who keep on bullying him. Willy said, he respect Joey’s opinion but his ‘pasaring’ were totally below the belt. Willie decided to come out of the show and clear all that matters. Evidently, the Wowowee host’s apologies were already forgiven.
As we all know, the show is not merely a show to make other people cry, laugh and entertain but i, as an audience, i believe that the show is an instrument to help our fellow Pinoys to at least lessen their burden in their fight for poverty.
The Wowowee show, from Willie Revillame and to all the staff, we are proud of you guys.
You are truly Proud Pinoys!
Speculations regarding Wowowee’s Wilyonaryo episode last August 20, a scam or just a mere mistake? This video from youtube.com have been circulating in the internet and received negative reactions from the people who watched it.
Well, the show has all the rights to explain what really happened and viewers has the right to hear it as well. I know this issue will soon be cleared. So, let’s just wait.
The ‘Wilyonaryo’ segment was first launched last Saturday, August 18, 2007 replacing ‘Pera o Bayong’.
