Pinoy Fear Factor aired it’s first episode last night and all i can say is Wow! The reality show gained huge viewership not only because of the stunts, but also to the 12 Pinoy Fear Factor Contestants! Indeed the show is totally exciting and real hot!

The identities of the much awaited Survivor Philippines have been revealed and it’s time to watch them on Philippine Television. Pinoy Survivor or Survivor Philippines will premier on September 15, 2008 on Kapuso Channel GMA 7.
From the original 16 castaways, GMA 7 preferred to make it 18 to be part of the show. It’s approved by the owners of Survivor - Castaway Television. The 18 castaways together with 120 crew members went to Ko Tarutao Island in Satun Province, Thailand to start the challenge of their lives. Survivor is more than just a reality show. More than just the physical looks. It requires strength, power and determination to survive.

Ilang araw na lang muling lalabas ang mga contestants ng Pinoy Dream Academy para sa taong ito. PDA is a counterpart of Kapuso Network ABS-CBN 2 for Pinoy Idol of Kapuso Network GMA 7.
Lately nakita natin ang auditions aired by GMA 7 every Saturday at ito ngang nakaraang Sabado ipinalabas na ang Top 24 finalist ng Pinoy Idol. Ang daming observation sa show na ito at marami ang naiinis dito. Una, hindi daw dapat pinalitan ang Philippine Idol to Pinoy Idol. Bakit nga ba? Pati ang first time winner ng Philippine Idol na si Mau Barcelo ay di na rin kikilalanin ng Pinoy Idol. Bakit? Pangalawa, matindi daw ang panlalait na inabot ng mga contestants mula sa tatlong judges na sina Ogie Alcasid, Jolina Magdangal at Wyngard Tracy. Dinaig pa daw ang Ameican Idol dito. Lalo na yung sinapit ng isang contestant na hindi nasabayan ang pagkanta nung ka duet nya dahil di kabisado ang lyrics. Galit at panlalait ang inabot ng contestant na ito kay Ogie Alcasid. Kung ikaw nga ba naman ang isalang dun, siempre matira matibay at unahin mo na ang sarili mo bago ang kasama mo. Third, wala na bang ibang pwedeng mag judge bukod kina Ogie, Jolina at Wyngard?

The ABS-CBN Network has acquired the rights of Fear Factor Philippines. The popular show came from the Netherlands where Big Brother series came from.
Fear Factor was actually created by Endemol Netherlands with original title Now or Neverland. In 2001, it was adapted in American television. The name was then changed to Fear Factor. The vomit inducing show dares its contestants to undertake “scary” challenges and winner is named as Fear Factor champion with a huge amount of prize money.
Ryan Agoncillo, the rumored host of Fear Factor Philippines in an interview said,
“Nabalitaan kong Fear Factor is coming, I’d take the shot and take the chance to host it. Siguro, ito na ang hosting job na hinihintay ko and even better, dahil hindi ko kalaban ang Pinoy Idol. I have my eyes set in hosting Fear Factor, kaya ko siyang gawin at kumpiyansa akong magagawa ko nang tama.”
