Willie’s Wilyonaryo a Mistake? An Update.

August 29, 2007, This afternoon Willie Revillame had spoken and opened up regarding this controversy and it turned out so emotional during the opening of his show ‘Wowowee’. He felt sorry and made a public apology already. This may seem acceptable on part of other people who are in the audience and those watching at home. Willie was totally irked and cannot avoid himself to talk about Joey De Leon’s - who keep on bullying him. Willy said, he respect Joey’s opinion but his ‘pasaring’ were totally below the belt. Willie decided to come out of the show and clear all that matters. Evidently, the Wowowee host’s apologies were already forgiven.

As we all know, the show is not merely a show to make other people cry, laugh and entertain but i, as an audience, i believe that the show is an instrument to help our fellow Pinoys to at least lessen their burden in their fight for poverty.

The Wowowee show, from Willie Revillame and to all the staff, we are proud of you guys.

You are truly Proud Pinoys!

Naging paralisado. Mula sa dating masigla, naging parang lantang gulay ang sinapit niya. Napakasakit isipin, ngunit ito ang katotohanang dapat kong tanggapin. At sa mahabang panahon, natanggap ko iyon.

Thoughts Become Things…

OK, a refresher on what to imagine, when imaging super-fun life-changes, or any kind of change your heart desires: Details are good. Lots and lots of details are even better. Imagine every sight, sound, color, and texture. Aroma, too. The more details the clearer the picture the faster the manifestation.

But tell me, if, hypothetically and unexpectedly, I could help you manifest a Lamborghini faster than a Maserati, and it turned out, once familiar with it, you’d rather have the Lamborghini; someone tall, blonde, and handsome, instead of someone tall, dark, and handsome, and it turned out upon meeting this person there’s no one you’d rather be with; or bring you creative fulfilling work as a designer instead of as an engineer, a home in London rather than Paris, a plane instead of a boat, a windfall instead of just debt-reduction, an Oscar rather than an Emmy, sooner rather than later, and in every case such surprises not only strayed from the details you first imagined, but were deeply in line with a truer you than you even knew existed, wouldn’t they just thrill you to pieces?

Good, so now you know what I mean when I say that even as you would ideally imagine every conceivable detail of your heart’s desire, don’t attach yourself to those details, only to the bigger pictures of wealth and abundance, friends and laughter, health and harmony, thereby leaving me the wiggle-room I need to blow your beautiful mind.

Attached to you,
 The Universe

Inspirational Speech of John Gokongwei

A very inspirational speech of John Gokongwei.

Speech of John Gokongwei before Ateneo Graduates —

I wish I were one of you today, instead of a 77-year-old man, giving a speech you will probably forget when you wake up from your hangover tomorrow. You may be surprised I feel this way. Many of you are feeling fearful and apprehensive about your future. You are thinking that, perhaps, your Ateneo diploma will not mean a whole lot in the future in a country with too many problems. And you are probably right. You are thinking that our country is slipping-no, sliding. Again, you may be right.Twenty years ago, we were at par with countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. Today, we are left way behind. You know the facts. Twenty years ago, the per capita income of the Filipino was 1,000 US dollars. Today, it’s 1,100 dollars. That’s a growth of only ten percent in twenty years. Meanwhile, Thailand ’s per capita income today is double ours; Malaysia, triple ours; and Singapore, almost twenty times ours. With globalization coming, you know it is even more urgent to wake up. Trade barriers are falling, which means we will have to compete harder. In the new world, entrepreneurs will be forced to invest their money where it is most efficient. And that is not necessarily in the Philippines. Even for Filipino entrepreneurs, that can be the case.
