The controversial Chair Benjamin Abalos has announced his resignation today as Chairman of COMELEC (Commision on Elections).
Remember that the beleaguered Chair on Thursday said he will not resign his post over his implication in the controversial national broadband network (NBN) project. Abalos said this in the middle of his clamor from various sectors for him to step down over accusations that he brokered, in exchange for his alleged commissions, the $329.48 million deal between the government and China’s Zhong Xing Telecommunications Equipment (ZTE) Corp. for the implementation of the NBN project.
Abalos said, he was not treated faily so he finally decided to resign.
Bakit nga ba sa Pilipinas, kapag ang isang politiko na na-iinvolve sa graft and corruption, scam, or malicious scandal ay bigla itong magreresign?
Ikaw, bilang Pilipino, Proud ka ba sa desisyong ito ng ating mga politiko?
Ibig bang sabihin nito na tinatanggap niyang “Guilty” sila sa akusang ipinaparatang sa kaniya?
Isa ba itong pakana o taktika para makalusot sa bahong kinasasangkutan nya o totoong may pinagtatakpan o kaya pinoprotektahan?
The Filipino should be vigilant on this cases taking place in our country. The controversial ZTE scam is a long way process. Hindi pa ito matatapos hangga’t hindi maparurusahan ang may sala.
Isang palusot lang yan para malinis ang pangalan nya! Ang problema, kahit pa magresign siya sa COMELEC wala siyang lusot sa taongbayan! Magaling magmalinis si Abalos, ang totoo napakabahong politiko.

ano naman kaya ang nawala kay abalos dahil nagresign sya? magreretire na sya sa December so he just lost a couple of months in office and he resigned because he is taking too much heat already. he is hoping that his resignation will give him a little breathing space to cover his tracks. why do u think is he involved in this dirty deal that doles out millions in pesos and dollars for bribe?
