Calvin Klein Jeans Sexy Billboard

Calvin Klein Jeans billboard is receiving negative feedbacks because of its very sexy campaign. The 50-foot billboard ad can be found in Manhattan at the intersection of Houston and Lafayette Streets.

In an interview with NY Daily News; “It’s pretty provocative,” added Alicia Shay, 24. “Just the positioning of them all — she’s kissing him, the other guy has his hands down her pants, they’re all misty even. It’s really inappropriate.”

“It’s borderline pornographic,” local resident Lisa Marchese, 36, told the New York Daily News . “They all look so young, particularly the girl. And to portray them in a threesome — it’s just taking it too far.”

Leon Ivangododsky, 30, with his seven-month-old son Lief, reacts to the Calvin Klein Billboard on Houston Street and Lafayette Street.

If i were a father, i would cover my kid’s eye if we were passing on that billboard. It’s my responsibility and i know it’s not appropriate for kids. Calvin Klein should think it over again. I could say it’s an irresponsible act of choosing the right advertisement to be shown on public.

I dunno. I think its hot! It’s just me, though. But you know, it’s media. They don’t bend to moralities. They bend to things that would make their products sell. It’s not a good thing, yes. But it’s reality. We just have to reflect how we, as consumers, become part of this and what we should do about it.

CK is just being consistent with its image. i remember a teacher back in high school who was so enraged by my classmate’s notebook. His was covered with provocative CK ads he got from foreign magazines.
