Here’s a simple guide on how to go to Pagudpud.
Finally I’m Home! It’s my first time to travel 10 hours by bus and it was a memorable experience. I tell you it’s really worth the long, long, long trip. I went there last Friday (arrived this morning) for my special project, but I’ll let you know about the project soon.
The main plan with my brother and sister to travel Ilocos was cancelled, so I decided to come along with my two colleagues in Pagudud, Ilocos Norte.
If you’re planning for a vacation in Pagudpud, let me share you this;
How to go to Pagudpud?
You can ride Florida Bus in Sampaloc near Lacson St. along Espana St.
The fare is P550.00 (US$14).
Travel time is 9-10 hours.
Call Florida Bus for reservations @ 7314473
If you’re in Pagudpud and wants to travel to Bangui, Wind Mills and Light House, you can either talk to one of the locals there for a ride or wait for a bus along the National Hi-way. We paid P300.00 for a Tricycle ride. We travelled 1 hour. It’s fun!
From Bangui to Laoag City. Travel time is 2 hours by Van. Fare is P60.00 (US$1.50).
From Laoag City to Vigan. Travel time is 2 hours. Regular bus is P100.00 (US$ 2.50).
From Vigan City to Manila. Partas Bus Terminal. Will cost you P585.00 (US$ 15). Travel time, 8 hours.

Buti naman bro at walang nangyaring masama sa inyo at nakabalik kayo nang maayos sa Manila. Nagkataon namang di maganda ang sked ko nang mapunta kayo dito. Eto nga ako ang tinamaan ng sakit (sakit sa bulsa. lol!)

@ Joanjoyce it’s true. Imagine tatlo lang kaming nagpunta sa resort, kami lang tao bukod sa mga taga dun hehe. Yung patapat napuntahan namin kaso di namin nadala yung cam kasi biglaan lang. galing kasi kami ng palengke haha.
@ KKK, amf di ko alam kung kalokohan tanong mo hahaha. Siempre beach sa pagudpud lols. Dun kami nag stay sa pinakadulo, Sunset View resort. Libre lang ako dun sa lahat from food to accomodation kasi me project akong nigawa. hehehe.

Never been to Pagudpud, wala kasing makasama. Hehe. Hmmm… mag-back pack na lang kaya ako mag-isa mala Globe Trekker? (Lonely Planet sana sasabihin ko pero iba na nga pala ang name ng show sa Discovery Channel.

I went to pagudpud many years ago. though super ganda nung place, di pa ko nakakabalik ulit kasi sobrang layo at tagal ng biyahe. masakit sa katawan.

Ang lupit. I can’t do land travel for that long – unless I’m on a train. But would really love to go there. I think I may fly to Tuguegarao and then hire a ride to Pagudpod which would be about another 3 hours, and I can stop every hour to stretch and get some fresh air.

Kamusta po mga kababayan…kung sino man ang gustong pumunta ng pagudpud this coming march..meron po kaming inaayus na bagong place doon. wala pa pong mga cottages. pero maganda po. private po ang lugar. so baka magkaroon po kami ng Barbecue Party.. sa gabi with mini bar at konting music. ngayun kung may mga tent naman kayo pwede kayong magdala. e-mail na lang po ninyu ako. dito sa lola_benge@yahoo.com
