Subscribe Via My RSS Feed. Thank you and enjoy your reading!

Tomorrow is RSS Awareness Day and i am taking part to spread the word. Since majority of the internet users are not familiar with RSS, let me share a little information to help you and understand RSS is.
What is RSS?
RSS - Really Simple Syndication is a format used to deliver information from websites that get updated regularly. An RSS document which is called feed contains either a summary or the full content from a website.
Why use RSS?
RSS helps people who frequently use the internet. It keeps you informed by getting the latest information from the websites you are interested in. You save time by not needing to visit each site individually. You also ensure your privacy, by not needing to subscribe each website’s email newsletter.
What do I need to do to read an RSS Feed? RSS Feed Readers and News Aggregators
There are different kinds of RSS Readers available from different platforms. Other popular feed readers are Amphetadesk for Windows, Linux and Mac, FeedReader for Windows, and NewsGator for Windows that integrates with Outlook. There are also a number of web-based feed readers available like My Yahoo, Bloglines, and Google Reader.
As a blogger i prefer Bloglines, i have more than a hundred feeds listed on it. I find it easy to track and get updates from blogs i usually visit. If you are using Bloglines kindly add my feed
or subscribe to my feed via RSS

iBlog4 Experience
Apr 28, 2008 Blogging Event
The 4th Philippine Blogging Summit held at the University of the Philippines Malcolm Theater last Saturday was a huge success. The event was attended by numerous bloggers around the country.
iBlog4 was the first event i attended since i started my blogging career last year. It was a wonderful experience! We came late and we missed one of the exciting parts of the program, the Australian Blogger - Brian Gorrell’s Video.
Honestly, i learned many things from the iBlog4 event. Things that i seldom find in the internet and things that i feel lazy to read about. From Pinoyblogero’s point of view about Blogging as a career - Problogging, discussions about Photoblogging, Moblogging and Videoblogging, the difference of traditional media versus blogging - media reporters and bloggers, the contributions of bloggers to our government especially to the 2010 Philippine Elections up to the advocacies of our concern bloggers in the real world.

Dominant Guardian Must Leave Kuya’s House
Apr 24, 2008 Philippine Reality Show
PBB Teen Edition Plus One is getting intense not exciting these days. In the history of Pinoy Big Brother, there were other issues and conflicts that gained people’s interest. In the case of PBB Teen Edition Plus One, just happened this week when one of the guardians “John” stubbornly shouting inside the house.
What’s worst was John’s act of dominating the house like an “AMO”. He kept on asking everyone what to do and what not to do. I don’t know if it is proper, i don’t know if it’s part of his culture in Europe, i don’t know why he’s really fuming mad over Josef and Anna.
This is not the first time that John exploded. He’s known for being frank, but is it right to shout and yell to anyone inside the house if he wants to? I don’t know the main reason why he’s so mad at Anna and Josef, but if you watched last night it seems he’s irked with Josef’s laziness inside the house and for waking up late.
The shocking acts of this guardian from Europe (should i say must dive bars in San Diego, California instead )did a very bad example in Philippine television. Though the reality show is shown in prime time slot and rated parental guidance, worst is, some kids watched it already at home.
Anyway, i know ABS-CBN Network won’t end the fight leaving a bad impression of the show. In the end, lessons will be learned over and over again.

How To Make Your Blog Wap Ready?
Apr 23, 2008 Mobile WAP
Let us first define WAP - also termed as Wireless Application Protocol is the open standard for enabling web content to mobile phones and other wireless devices. WAP is the platform for the new generation of information through phones.
So if you’re planning of making your blog WAP ready there are many ways to do it. One simple way especially if you are using Wordpress blog is to download the plugin. There are mobile plugins available like;
(1) Alex King’s WordPress Mobile Plugin - Like other Wordpress plugin, this is easy to install. No image resizing nor page splitting and displays without problems on most browsers. The plugin supports WP 2.2 and i don’t think with WP 2.3
Download Wordpress Mobile Plugin Here
(2) Andy Moore’s WordPress Mobile Plugin - Your posts, pages, archives and comments can be viewed on a mobile device. Standards are supported, posts and comments can be submitted by phone. Compatible with WP 2.2. However, if you are using WP 2.3 you need to use the Mobile Plugin Patch to make it compatible.
Download WordPress Mobile Plugin
There are also other available plugins for WAP like WordPress with WURFL plugin and Mowser WordPress Mobile plugin for your reference.
Sometimes the problem occurs when the author’s plugin didn’t upgrade for a higher version like Wordpress 2.5. Among the four, i used Andy Moore’s plugin for its cool features. Remember this will only work in a hosted Wordpress blogs and for Blogspot users, please refer to this site - Winksite
How to install Andy Moore’s Plugin:
(1) Download the plugin and extract the PHP file from the zip
(2) Upload wordpress-mobile.php to your wp-content/plugins folder
(3) Activate the plugin. Goto Plugins > Click Activate
(4) Customise your site. Goto Options > WordPress Mobile
(5) Visit your site using your phone’s browser or an emulator
Emulators like http://ready.mobi and http://www.yospace.com. If you use Ready.mobi the results below;
